🏆 THE GOAL
Be the first player to reach $50,000 net worth. Net worth = your cash minus your debt. Managing both is the key to winning.
🚀 GETTING STARTED
Create or join a room. The host shares the 4-letter room code with friends. Each person opens the game on their own device and enters the code.
Pick your job. Each job has a different income, starting debt, and expenses. High income jobs often come with high student loan debt — choose your trade-off wisely.
You start with 3 cards in hand. These are your action cards to use strategically during the game.
🔄 YOUR TURN — 3 PHASES
PHASE 1 — COLLECT INCOME
Click "TAKE YOUR TURN". You automatically collect your net income (your income minus your expenses). If expenses are high, you might collect very little — or even go backwards.
PHASE 2 — DRAW AN EVENT CARD
A random event card is drawn and shown to you. It could be a Crisis (bad news like a medical bill or rent hike), an Opportunity (good news like a tax refund or viral post), a Social card (affects all players), or a Wild card (a gamble). The effect applies immediately when you tap "GOT IT".
PHASE 3 — PLAY AN ACTION CARD (OPTIONAL)
You may play one action card from your hand (highlighted in blue). These let you pay off debt, start a business, cut expenses, invest, or more. You can also draw a new card to grow your hand, or simply end your turn and save your cards for later.
🃏 CARD TYPES
CRISIS
Medical bills, rent hikes, layoffs. These hurt your cash, increase debt, or raise expenses. Shielding yourself with an Emergency Fund card can block one.
OPPORTUNITY
Tax refunds, side hustles, raises. These boost your cash or permanently increase your income. Always good news.
ACTION
Cards you hold and play strategically. Includes debt payoff, starting a side business, budget cuts, smart investments, and more.
WILD
Crypto bets, stock market swings. Pure 50/50 gambles. High risk, high reward — or high loss.
SOCIAL
Union victories give everyone cash. Community GoFundMe collects money from all other players for you. These shake up the whole board.
📊 NET WORTH EXPLAINED
Net Worth = Cash − Debt. The green progress bar under each player's name shows how close they are to $50K. You can have a lot of cash but still lose if your debt is massive.
Strategy tip: paying off debt with an action card is often more powerful than earning more cash — because it boosts your net worth directly.
💡 STRATEGY TIPS
The Content Creator job starts with low income but no debt — net worth climbs fast early if you catch good opportunity cards.
Hold the Emergency Fund card if crises keep hitting you — it blocks the next one completely.
Side Business and Network Up permanently boost income — play them early for compounding gains over many turns.
Don't let expenses silently eat your income — a Budget Cut card can fix this permanently.
This will end the game for everyone and permanently delete all room data from the server.
